WHAT HAVE BEEN ACCOMPLISHED:

This project included 2.2 miles of freeway improvement along SR4 for the Measure C program.   It included a bridge replacement over BNSF Railway, Undercrossing structure, retaining walls and MSE walls.

JMEC performed Independent Check of PS&E (plans, specifications and estimates) for the 4-span Christie Overhead with 290-ft (88.5m) maximum span.  The bridge is of CIP Prestressed Concrete Box Girder constructed over BNSF Railway.

The use of long span across railroad is required to satisfy railroad and PUC  requirements.
